Bill Hacket serves as a political consultant to campaigns. Some of his recent work has centered on electing individuals in the Pasadena, California area. In addition, Bill headed a community outreach effort for a local heritage group.
He is the former Chair of the Pasadena Area United Headquarters (UDH). This organization is a coalition of clubs that is tasked with opening a headquarters every two years with the sole purpose of electing great candidates to office.
In 2016, Bill took on the role of Campaign Manager for the headquarters. Volunteers made over 247,000 calls and hung 28,000 door hangers working out of a 7,000 square foot headquarters on South Lake Avenue in Pasadena. Tens of thousands of calls were made to battleground states in addition to the local effort.
Bill formerly worked as a Senior Field Representative and District Director for the California State Assembly. He is a graduate of Providence College and Southwestern University School of Law. He studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland where he took a class in International Human Rights taught by the late California State Supreme Court Justice, Stanley Mosk.
Bill previously worked as a Senior Trial Attorney for Transamerica Corporation and has done consulting work for the entertainment industry. Bill has served as manager on countless campaigns and is currently a member of several political clubs and organizations.
Bill grew up in Rhode Island and currently lives in Southern California.
Elaine Hurd was introduced to politics at a young age because her parents were politically active and her mother ran for local office in northeastern Ohio.
Elaine has worked in a variety of fields, including news media, motion picture industry, non-profit religious and community organizations and even owned her own children’s dance business. She has devoted time to Democratic Party campaigns in Ohio, California, Colorado and Nevada. She has also volunteered for animal rescue and environmental organizations.
She eventually earned a B.S. in Business, a Certificate in Fundraising, a Certificate in Public Relations for Non-Profits and continues to volunteer for those candidates and movements which are important to her. She has been a writer and editor and was the co-owner of a political commentary site in Nevada.
Elaine crossed paths with Bill Hacket when they worked together during several campaign cycles at the United Democratic Headquarters (UDH) in Pasadena, California. She later moved to the Las Vegas area and is a member of several political clubs in Nevada and California.
